Scope and Contents From the Item: The first portion of this volume (pages 1 to 98) contains Rehn's notes from his 1937 Southwestern Orthoptera survey in the southwestern United States, including Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, California and Texas. Scope and Contents This volume contains Rehn's field notes from his 1922 expedition to the American southwest between August 4th and October 1st (pages 1 to 102). As in previous years, Rehn traveled between Wyoming, Utah, Nevada, California, Oregon, Arizona and New Mexico.The expedition began in Cheyenne, Wyoming on August 6th. Scope and Contents This volume contains Rehn's accounts of three separate field trips. The first account (pages 1 to 9) describes Rehn's 1959 field trip to Springfield, Ohio during the first nineteen days of August. On August 5th Rehn suffered severe stomach hemorrhaging, and was hospitalized at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Ohio from August 6th through the 14th. Upon his release from the hospital, Rehn retraced his path eastward. The account concludes with his arrival at Lakewood, New Jersey....
