Overview

Founded in 1872, the Hahnemann Club of Philadelphia helped promote comradery among its members, advance the standards of medical education, and uphold the homeopathic interests of the college. The Hahnemann Club was the oldest surviving Philadelphia medical club until it disbanded in the 1990s. Collection contains the Hahnemann Club records including bound books and binders with meeting minutes (1884-1989) and exhibit captions.

Overview Naomi Rogers, PhD is a professor in the History of Medicine and of History at Yale University. In 1998, she published her book, An Alternative Path: The Making and Remaking of Hahnemann Medical College and Hospital of Philadelphia.
