Content Description This collection contains Anna Margaret White Powell's papers from her time as a student at Drexel from 1929 to 1933, as well as items she accumulated as an alumna and as a member of the Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority. This collection consists of photographs of instructors, students, and classrooms in the Department of Domestic Science and Arts. Also included are photos taken in Wissahickon Creek and three team pictures from the women's basketball team. Identified faculty and students in the collection include: Albert P. Brubaker, Ellen Morris, Katherine J. Coolidge, Helen M. Spring, Anna Anthony, Maude G. Hopkins.

Scope and content note The Hilda Stuart Wood collection consists of cookbooks, a notebook, and a few photographs, ranging from 1885-1937. The eight published cookbooks contain Wood's handwritten notes and loose papers. Annotations on a few of the recipe cards refer to the collection as having belonged to previous generations, leaving the impression that the cookbooks have been passed down through the family. The bulk of the photos are from 1903-1904 and 1914-1915. Domestic science is the predominant subject. Folders are arranged chronologically within subseries; folders marked with prefix OV are located in box 2.
