Scope and Contents
Scrapbook is comprised of 90 pages each decorated with bird feathers arranged artisticly, and pasted to the paper. Most species represented are local and common or domesticated, with some exceptions including the macaws from Brazil, and the prairie hens. The title page features the creator's name in feathers.

3500 people were invited. Of this group 441 are known to have been in attendance
because they signed the register of visitors and delegates. Many of the

His daily record of hunting events and animals seen was prepared in letterpress, but not published, being in fact a scrapbook, with maps, pictures and photographs tipped in. Primarily comprised of 7 scrapbooks containing news clippings assembled by various members of Leidy's family, the entries pertaining to his activities between the dates of 1857 and 1891.
