The ANSP Publications Papers collection includes record books, subscription lists, prospectuses, financial documents and policies regarding the publications produced by the Academy of Natural Sciences. The collection is divided into four series. Series I. Subscription Record Books and Documents contains account books with the names and payments of subscribers. The books are arranged chronologically according to the earliest date of each book. Many of the account books overlap in terms of years. The unbound documents are arranged together in a single folder at the end of the series. Series II. Financial Documents contains documents related to publication funds, price lists, printing costs, etc. The folders are organized chronologically according to the earliest date of each folder. Most folders contain multiple years of materials and some of the folders have overlapping chronologies. Series III. Reports and Policies is arranged alphabetically by folder title. Series IV. Miscellaneous contains some printed materials about publications as well as notes and exhibition labels attributed to Maurice E. Phillips.
