Eugene Murray Aaron Papers
Scope and Contents
A local entomologist, Aaron wrote up a Record of captures, 'pinnumbers" and field notes of his collection, 1882-89, covering the nearby New Jersey and Philadelphia locale. Isaac C. Martindale obtained specimens from Aaron, borrowed the "Record" and made the present transcript for his own use. Aaron was an early editor of Entomological News and much of the included correspondence pertains to matters of editorial interest. In later life this Aaron changed his name to the hyphenated form Murray-Aaron.
