Scope and Contents
This collection consists of three medallions, 2 small medallion storage boxes, and three notes accompany the medallions. The medals were given to the Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia by outside institutions including the International Congress of Americanists, The Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts, and Letters, and the Academie Royale des Sciences, des Lettres et des Beaux-Arts de Belgique.

The medal was given to the Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia by Dr.Antiono Carlos Simoens da Silva. The medal is from the 20th International Congress of Americanists which was held in Rio De Janeiro in 1922. Dr. Simoens da Silva was the Brazilian Ambassador for the Americanists Congress.
