Percy Tindall papers

Overview

This is the second donation from the donor, Robert Tindall, a descendant of several Hahnemann alumni. (The earlier donation is the 1899 Hahnemann yearbook, which, although accessioned separately as 2014.010, is housed together with this accession, 2016.018.) Percy A. Tindall MD., graduated from Hahnemann Medical College in 1899. This collection contains 13 photographs, a letter and two textbooks belonging to Dr. Tindall.

Overview

Even at the age of 14, this author was keeping notebooks of his field observations and with other enthusiasts, i.e. friends at the Central High School, and in the local Agassiz Club, preparing information for catalogs of various groups of animals. Notebooks and illustrated records, as well as correspondence with his colleagues are found in this collection.
