Scope and Contents This plaster cast is the original plaster model for the obverse of the Academy of Natural Sciences Gold Medal for Distinction in Natural History Art. The medal was originally designed by David Bonner and Donald Patterson of the Franklin Mint. The original plaster for the reverse of the medal was never returned to the Academy by the Franklin Mint. Minutes of the Women's Committee 1954-1996, correspondence, membership Lists, information on two SuperSundays (1971, 1985), and documents giving its history from 1936 to 1954. Records for 1936-1975 transferred to Academy archives by Development office in 1979 and 1980; records to 1996 transferred by Women's Committee but no accession record found.
