The collection contains the professional and personal papers of Robert Benedict, with most of the materials related to his Westinghouse career. There are also papers related to Mr. Benedict's time as an adjunct professor at Drexel University’s Evening College and a lecturer. Engineer in Training exam (EIT) was modernized to Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and is a precursor to the Professional Engineering exam. The Evening College ran a review course for each and Mr. Benedict taught parts of both. The courses are now no longer offered.
