The first expedition documented in this volume (pages 1 to 101) describes the work of Rehn and Hebard in Florida and Texas in 1912. The date range for journal entries is June 29th to September 27th. Scope and Contents From the Item: The first portion of this volume (pages 1 to 89) contains Rehn's journal entries from his "1947 Southwestern Orthoptera Survey." Journal entries date from July 16th to September 6th. Collecting began on July 25th in the region between Trinidad and Alamosa, Colorado. The area surveyed includes southern Colorado, southern Utah, northern Arizona, Southern Nevada, south-eastern California, central New Mexico, and northern Texas.
