Scope and Contents American naturalist, founder-member of the Entomological Society of Philadelphia and active in it until his death. Curator of the Society's Cabinet, but gave his personal collections to younger workers. The journal gives localities in Pennsylvania and New Jersey with ecological notes. Scope and Contents Traveler, lawyer and naturalist, Edwards became a correspondent of the Entomological Society of Philadelphia in August, 1859, only six months after it was founded. His address at that time was given as Coalburgh, West Virginia and apparently he lived there until he died.
