Thomas L. Bradford papers
Overview
Dr. Thomas Lindsley Bradford [1847-1918] was a homeopathic physician and historian of homeopathy. He graduated from the Homeopathic Medical College of Pennsylvania (the forebearer to Hahnemann Medical College) in 1869 and studied under Dr. Adolphus Lippe. Dr. Bradford practiced homeopathic medicine for nearly 30 years but is best known for his work recording the history of homeopathy. This collection includes two albums of Samuel Hahnemann likenesses, a scrapbook of homeopathic history articles, clippings, pictures, letters, and documentation of the search for Hahnemann's tomb, 1896, including Bradford's correspondence with Platt and Mohr and receipts from city of Paris and cemetery.
