Kelly Hall time capsule contents
Content Description
The collection consists of the contents of a metal-encased time capsule that was found behind the Kelly Hall cornerstone during renovations in the 2021-2022 winter. These include several documents and artifacts honoring Ralph Kelly, as well as several Drexel publications and two Philadelphia newspapers from 1969.

Biographical / Historical
Ralph Kelly (1889-1962) served as commissioner of customs during the Eisenhower administration. He donated the money to the Drexel Institute to build Kelly Hall dormitory, which opened in 1967.
