Helen Tavenner records on Faculty Advisory Committee and Drexel Women's Club
Scope and content note
This collection consists of the records of registrar Helen Tavenner in relation to her membership of the Faculty Advisory Committee and her presidency of the Drexel Women's Club from 1948-1949. This collection is divided into two series.
The first series, Drexel Women's Club 1947-1958, contains records on meetings, events, announcements and correspondence of the Women's Club members. There are also several files of Women's Club newsletters from 1948 to 1958. There is also a brief history of the Women's Club from 1927 to 1947, newspaper clippings on the club, and nominee forms and files for the Distinguished Daughters of Pennsylvania.
The second series, Faculty Advisory Committee 1946-1958, contains records on the Faculty Advisory Committee during the tenure of President James Creese.
