World War II collection
Scope and Contents note
This collection consists of records pertaining to the contributions of Drexel faculty, staff, and students to the Second World War. It contains two copies of the book "The War Records," which lists alumni who served and died in World War II, and two programs for a 1945 memorial service in honor of deceased war veterans. Also included are copies of Drexel's Armed Forces Bulletin, which describes courses and educational benefits for veterans; a pamphlet on the Engineering, Science and Management War Training Program; a list of veterans enrolled as of 1945; biographies and resumes of Drexel men involved in the war; and several sets of air raid warning instructions.
