Scope and Contents This collection contains two printing blocks from the American Entomological Society. The large printing block was made from a sketch of the same design. The large printing block is to create certificates for members of the society. A metal printing plate is attached to a wooden block for support. Scope and Contents

A single folder collection consisting of 17 letters - one addressed to F. V. Melsheimer, the remaining 16 to Johann F. Melsheimer.

The letters deal largely with mutual entomological interests, and include much information about Say's collecting trips during the years covered, particularly his trip to Florida in 1817 with William Maclure, George Ord and Titian R. Peale, and the Long Rocky Mountain Expedition.
