Biography
Mary Catherine Knight, also listed as "May" in some Drexel records, earned a diploma in Design and Decoration in June 1897 from the Department of Fine Art and Applied Arts, where she studied leatherworking under Mary C. Ware (later Dennett). After graduation, Knight became an important member of the Society of Arts and Crafts in Boston, and is best known for her work in silver.
