Morris Albert Linton Papers
Linton, a Philadelphia judge, was Academy president from 1951 to 1962. Collection consists of letter to incoming president George Clark dated Oct. 10, 1962; 11p. typescript headed "East African Wildlife Revisited, M. Albert Linton"; and 2 covering notes signed H. R[adclyffe] R[oberts] transmitting items to Academy library.
Transferred to Academy archives in 1962.
Philip Powell Calvert Papers
These papers refer to professional matters, in large part, although a few personal and biographical items are included. Texts of articles, both published and unpublished, drawings, charts, bibliographies, mailing lists, collecting data, and records pertaining to the location of Odonata in outside collections in the world are all to be found included in this lot.
Assembled by Calvert and retained in his home office until his death, when they were bequeathed to the Academy.
