Scope and Contents

The miscellanea here assembled is a scattered sampling of investment documents. A record of a loan to the Academy, 1826 by five of its members; treasurer's investment report for 1853; records of interest due for 1887 and 1890; bid price of securities, 1930; and information about the G. W. Carpenter estate holdings, 1891 and the Breece Mining Co., 1902 are all included.

Overview This collection contains the Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia Treasurers' reports and other financial documents. Annual reports, appropriation documents, a budget report, two building fund reports, minutes, correspondence, one Treasurer's final account and a Trustees lease are included from the timeperiod of 1815 through 1927.
