Overview
Founded in 1872, the Hahnemann Club of Philadelphia helped promote comradery among its members, advance the standards of medical education, and uphold the homeopathic interests of the college. The Hahnemann Club was the oldest surviving Philadelphia medical club until it disbanded in the 1990s. Collection contains the Hahnemann Club records including bound books and binders with meeting minutes (1884-1989) and exhibit captions.

Overview
Hahnemann University’s long history began in 1848 with the founding of the Homeopathic Medical College of Pennsylvania. Over the years, the institution evolved in many ways, eventually becoming Hahnemann University and, later, the Drexel University College of Medicine.
