Hahnemann University’s long history began in 1848 with the founding of the Homeopathic Medical College of Pennsylvania. Over the years, the institution evolved in many ways, eventually becoming Hahnemann University and, later, the Drexel University College of Medicine. Dr. Thomas “Bud” Dunning [1876-1954] was a graduate of Hahnemann Medical College, class of 1902. After graduating, Dr. Dunning was a practicing physician in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and later in Nevada. Collection contains photographs, correspondence, lectures, handbooks, notebooks, publications, and medical ephemera from the early 20th century.
